Year 6 Integrated Studies

The year has been very eventful for us as our year long journey has taken us through various pathways with our learning and social development. I would like to thank all the Year 6 students for all their hard work and effort this year. It has been a pleasure to be a part of their learning journey and I wish them all the best in Secondary School. It is the beginning of a new chapter with their schooling and I hope they continue to strive to do their best in the years to come.

This term the students were busy learning about natural disasters. They completed their individual projects and presented their findings to their peers. It has been great to see them develop awareness of natural disasters that occur frequently in our own country and around the world. They have also been engaged with learning about the background work that is involved with web page design and creation in their ICT sessions using WIX and other tools.

Dear Year 6 students,

Our explorations with History, Geography and science in our classrooms, excursions and incursions and other moments has made 2018 quite memorable for me. I have seen you all grow in confidence and in the ability to meet any challenges that have come your way. When you reflect on the year, I’m sure it will hold a special place in your heart as it will for me.
